It will not be possible to cover all 800 years of Warsaw’s history in three hours, but I promise you will learn the most important things about the city. The ornate Krakowskie Predmestie Street, the ensembles of Market Square and Castle Square, St. Anne’s Church – through these and other sights you will trace Warsaw’s difficult path and learn how and what the capital lives today. You will also get useful recommendations: where to eat, how to spend an evening and where else to go in Poland.

What to expect

– Key places of Kraków Suburb
You’ll start getting to know the Polish capital on Krakowskie Predmieść Street, the main avenue linking the Old Town and modern neighborhoods. The walk will be filled with stories about the past of the Royal Route and the sights of the ornate street. You will see the oldest Warsaw University, the rococo Basilica of the Visitors, the neoclassical St. Anne’s Church, the Bristol and European Hotels, the Academy of Fine Arts and the Presidential Palace with a long history of construction.

– Revitalized Old Town
The historic center of Warsaw is a unique place. Almost completely destroyed during World War II, the Old Town has been skillfully rebuilt based on drawings, photographs and pictures. You will learn how it was and find the surviving buildings. Follow the steep, narrow alleys to the Royal Castle, which once again adorns Warsaw – here we will talk about the prominent Polish kings. On the Market Square you will be fascinated by gingerbread houses, and at the Barbakan defense tower you will learn about the peculiarities of this structure.

As a result, you’ll get a complete picture of Warsaw’s history, architecture and modern life.
