This tour is for those who value their time, love comfort and want to get acquainted with all the key sights of Warsaw on the first day of their trip. In a few hours you will drive through the main places of the capital and touch its history: you will see Warsaw’s modern districts and the colorful Old Town, meet medieval fortifications and elegant royal palaces, learn about the Warsaw Uprising and the life of the city during the war, and hear stories about Marie Curie, Frederic Chopin and Polish royalty.

What to expect

Walk in the Royal Park
First you will head to the Royal Lazienki palace and park complex and visit the favorite recreation place of Warsaw citizens, where open-air Chopin concerts are held until late autumn. You will see the picturesque “Palace on the Water”, the Roman Theater and the Myszlewicz Palace, where the King’s courtiers lived. You will admire the beautiful Monument to Frédéric Chopin and, with a bit of luck, you will be able to feed the squirrels that live in the park.

Landmarks of the city
You will drive through the main architectural sites of the city, along the way learning about the history of Warsaw and Poland. You will see the Palace of Culture and Science, the tallest building in the city, which still elicits mixed reactions from locals. Visit Theater Square, where you’ll hear the story of the Warsaw Uprising and see sites associated with it. You will then take a short walk through Saxon Park to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, where you will see what remains of the once magnificent Saxon Palace, which was destroyed during the war.

The atmosphere of old Warsaw
Then you will be greeted by the Old Town with its beautiful Castle Square, the Royal Castle, the Cathedral and the Little Mermaid – the symbol of Warsaw. We’ll take a look at the barbican, a 16th-century fortification, and then descend to the New Town, where you’ll see Maria Skłodowska-Curie’s house and Warsaw’s oldest church.

If you still have some energy left, we will go down to the river boulevards and admire the panorama of Warsaw from the Vistula River.
