Daily walk around Warsaw
Polostour > Tours > Warsaw > Daily walk around Warsaw

Warsaw is a mix of modern and old, preserved and restored, classical and avant-garde. And it is not to everyone’s taste. Our tour is an opportunity to fall in love with a city where it is not so easy to do so. You will choose one of two routes: in either case, you will be guaranteed an interest in Warsaw’s rich but clearly told history; you will meet the contrasts of the city and everything that can only be found in this capital.

What to expect

Red Route: Old Warsaw – the phoenix city
During World War II Warsaw lost about ¾ of its architectural heritage, but over the decades the Old Town has literally risen from the ashes and turned back into one of the beautiful capitals of Europe. You will come into contact with the true history of Warsaw at the preserved monuments, with the “dirty” past of the Vistula River and with interesting new buildings – for example, the Royal Castle: it is only in its 4th decade. The restoration of the city is an important thread of this itinerary, which will reveal the old and the modern of the Polish capital.

Blue Route: Krakowskie Predmieść (Kraków Suburb) along and across
This walk will take you along the history street that links old and modern Warsaw, passing by its many sights. The Rococo basilica and the neoclassical St. Anne’s Church, the Presidential Palace and the Academy of Fine Arts, famous hotels and the ancient university await you here. The route will also cover Novy Svat Street – so you will repeat the way of kings, admiring noble residences along the way, as well as seeing art objects and popular cafes and bars.
